HAPPY OCTOBER! (woooooo spooky!)
Today, I've got something nice and Halloweeny for you all. The Kill Me Mama EP by Oh Oh Ecstasy. This thing is nice.
It starts with an eerie acoustic guitar track. It feels cold and slow, you can almost feel the wind and leaves swirling around you as you listen!
The next two tracks are dark, synthy and have mumbled lyrics and groanings overlaying them (not to mention the latter of the two evolved into another great song by them, I Was Drunk!). The final song, the band version of track 1 just feels like a brilliant crescendo to the album, for me! It's as good as track one, but the added instruments make it feel like peek spookiness, and it's so fr33ky sounding, I love it! So danceable, too!
