So very recently, the Netflix live action team, along with Avatar Studios announced that a new Visual FX firm was coming on board to help both of them out.. The fact that they’re working both with the Netflix show and the avatar Studios live action movies tell us that these guys will probably be behind the bending effects.

Now on the official press release we can see that the official title for the netflix series is called Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Avatar Returns. Not a bad title if you ask me, but what do you guys think? Should they have kept the original from the animated series, or is this a cool title that gets you interested. We also don’t really know if this is just the title for book 1, or of its the whole series, since it’s not going to be a 1:1 adaptation.
Now after that, we get some news that reveals the official trailer for the Netflix series will be dropping very soon. It doesn’t give an exact date yet, but since the show itself is finishing up on production, I’d say this trailer is a few weeks to maybe a few months out. Definitely something to get really excited about!
