In Britain, there are many names people have used to refer to fair folk and similar spirits. We've heard speak of faeries, feriers, brownies, piskies, sprites and pixies, some simply county variations. Others considered different beings altogether. It's felt wise to stay on their good side, avoiding malice while being cautious of their mischievous tendencies. But when doing so, some may even assist those who welcome them with sweet offerings of their favourite foods and things.
Today, I performed one of my larger ritual offerings, with gifts to the faeries living in my house and the local land, our animal companions, and the spirits of my faery decks.
