The OECD-Indonesia Secondee Programme invites experts from Indonesian ministries to work directly with OECD teams. Secondees gain hands-on experience with international standards, learn how different policy areas connect and see how OECD countries address shared policy challenges.
The programme is a dynamic, meaningful and enriching experience that goes both ways. Indonesian secondees return to their ministries with OECD best practices, methods and policy ideas to improve policymaking in Indonesia. At the same time, the OECD benefits from Indonesia’s experience as a major emerging economy, including its perspectives on issues such as environmental management and economic development.
This two-way exchange builds stronger connections today helping shape better public policies tomorrow.
