Fun stuff when you have older systems without schematics to follow, I ended up finding the issue to be the push button switches malfunctioning and to get them by I removed one of the the cover plate screws that relieved pressure as the switch itself was somehow binding up and activating the stop button every time the screws for the switch plate were tightened.
