With every mass produced product they'll always be the odd faulty unit, it's normal, and companies usually fix or swap them out with no issue.

Dead Pixels are annoying and can distract you and break the immersion of VR. Jeremy Deats created a WebVR tool to help identify if you have any dead pixels, as they're sometimes hard to see.

Go to deadpixel.ramarcus.com in your Oculus Quest browser to check for dead pixels. You can use this to test any VR headset, TV, monitor or mobile phone for dead pixels.
