Wow it's been awhile since I have posted up something onto my channel XD
Well what a better way to break that silence streak with a collab with one of my all-time favourite editors!!
I am soo super glad I asked Rymelia if I could do a collab with her.
Seriously, Idk why I was so nervous. She's really nice and an awesome person. So sub her immediately!! She deserves all the love and respect humanity can offer.
Along with that, she was the first person to introduce me to Photoshop and Sony Vegas, so really, it if wasn't for her videos, I wouldn't even be here editing today..

I once again ruined my upload schedule - I always try to upload a full GMV per month but I uploaded 3 in August so that makes up for it right????
So funny story, I had actually finished this GMV in June, but I coudnt upload it due to it being blocked worldwide, I had uploaded it to my Facebook for my friends to watch but I wanted it on my Youtube so persistent stubborn me kept on trying hoping that WMG would change their policy and just monetize instead of blocking it. Low and Behold the odds are in my favor!
God the last time I edited a full FFX video was at least 5 years ago! FFX was the first FF game that I played so I will always have a connection with it - I was given it on Ps2 as a Xmas gift in 2003. At the time, my family on my dads side were staying with us while their house got repaired. I was completely absorbed into the game, it offered solace and comfort when I was uncomfortable being stuck in the same room with my parents for two weeks straight.

2nd of the full length videos I have planned for 2016, did some live action this time, cos I need a bit more of that on my channel and why not start with my favouite tv show currently?
Although its not on New Zealand TV yet, only America -online websites are my best friend so I can watch it as it streams in USA. Lucifer is an amazing show, basically the devil got sick of hell so he decided to take a vacation in Los Angeles.
Im aware this video wont make much sense to those who havent seen it, so if the show does come on TV I highly recommend you watch it - if youre not hooked by the first episode, well idk go back to watching Vampire Diaries or something.
Inspiration hit me like no other on this video - although not at first, I had ideas but the original song I picked just wasnt going anywhere, til I heard this and I instantly got the rest of the inspiration smacking me in the face like a hot pancake.

Theres a little mini-story to this video
You are lying there on the bed, surrounding unfamiliar to you and you invision a woman caressing your head with a lovely smile, you feel warm and safe.
But when you open your eyes, a little girl with eyes glowing alien injects you with something causing pain and when you awake you are the little girl with the glowing alien eyes.
You hear her voice within this little girl - she talks of a way to get you out and you begin to feel like you can trust her..

I admit that I wasnt really trying to focus on any type of emotion except for that of fear - being alone and scared.
When you are afraid, any voice, no matter how strange or suspcious sounds like a friend, making you inclined to trust them. If Trust is considered an emotion, then I included that in this to.
The person within the little girl, trusted this older girl who promised to save them, and then when they finally met face to face... she took everything away.
Leaving the feeling of betrayal and Fear.

I didnt originally think that Cloud would work with this but after watching Advent Children again, he is actually a badass. No one else could fight like him, SWORDS ON MOTORCYCLES. Devil May Cry got nothing on that.
Lightning, Thunder, Cloud, weather... AHHH ALL THE PUNS.
Regardless, its stupid how many times Advent Children changed their scenes - particularly with the draft movie - deleted scenes and then the complete version.

Sometimes vent edits are needed, to help redirect frustration and anger in a healthy way, its good to just use the emotions as your drive for editing and this is what we did :)
After a few vent sessions, I offered an IC to sing to help her through some tough times in life, and as someone who experienced the same situation ages ago, I can relate.
So we both channeled emotions into this small edit
