OCEARCH educator Haley will show teachers, students, and families how to use the OCEARCH Global Shark Tracker as a classroom learning tool. We’ll explore how to read the tracker and share simple ways students can use real shark data to make observations, identify patterns, explore geography, and even predict where a shark may travel next.
Haley will be joined by OCEARCH Senior Data Analyst John Tyminski and our new Research Investigator, Dr. James Anderson, who will provide an update on where our sharks are now and how they’ve moved throughout the summer.
