Toguchi Beach in Okinawa is a great place to head out and play in the shallows. From time to time there are also some waves, especially given the recent passing of Typhoon Hinnamnor. Today's video is simply from some recent downtime. I opted to hit the water with my GoPro Hero8 Black and see how I fared in the small waves on the reef.

The one gripe I have now with the GoPro's, you'll know of my on / off love/hate relationship with these action cameras. I noticed when I was swimming without the camera in a casing that the camera would switch to the other modes whenever I stopped recording. I had to ensure it was in video mode each time prior to hitting the record button! Pretty infuriating since I had simply taken a photo at the onset of the sequence where I had my best wave of the day only to see a frothy photo instead!
