1 frame slower than wr lmao. first person to PB with this new route which is back on WiiVC and can easily reach sub 7. This run had bad rupee rng, failed bridge clip, and had several small movement errors. A great run will be around 6:55 now.

First place when set on Oct 15, 2022, this run beat the previous record from Murph_E by 0.166 seconds (only about 3 frames)! Some small time losses here and there. The biggest skill based timeloss was getting stuck at the corner of the wall after Return A, and the biggest timeloss overall was having to cut all 8 bushes to get the 7 RNG rupees needed to contest the record in the first place. A truly optimal run with perfect luck would probably be around a 3:51-3:52 with these strategies.
This run was performed on the Wii Virtual Console Japanese version of the game, which offers this fastest possible strategy to reach the end credits. We use the SRM glitch to turn the ground beneath our feet into a loading zone to the Know It All Bros house, and also set a cutscene offset on that exit, triggering a credits warp. WR when set on July 23rd 2021, beating the previous record of 6:59 by Savestate, which was set the day before. This run can be beaten by as much as 6 seconds I think, and then it will get insanely difficult to progress further without a different route. With this run, the SRM glitch has single-handedly become responsible for over 10 minutes of time save in the any% category, as the world record when SRM was discovered was 16:58 by Torje.")
