Yooo it's done! We have finally obtained the end portal frame item in 100% vanilla survival on Prototech SMP!
I'd like to acknowledge that Scicraft got end portal frames before us, but they did it with carpet mod (which later turned out that in a way it made it harder for them lol).
This has been the most stressfull and technically advanced project I've ever worked on, and I'm just so happy it worked out fine(ish).
Also Unscientifically logging in didn't cause any harm, I just was so stressed out and tired at that point, that I just unreasonably exploded with rage. We're cool
