OLD DESCRIPTION:
My brother said it wasn't possible to do the Alternate Tourian Escape on Normal difficulty (2 minutes of escape time), so I had to prove him wrong.

(This wasn't played on real time, but no hacks nor cheats were used).
I know this could be polished a bit, but I proved my point, and I didn't want to spend more than one afternoon on this. Final time on the counter is 00:00:28.
I played on real time until 0:26, when I noticed Mother Brain's lock stayed open (what I was trying to achieve by playing randomly and dumb), and then I started using frame-by-frame inputs and savestates. I want to point out how helpful the Screw Attack and Hi-Jump Boots are.
I highly doubt this can be done on console.
