Day 24

“Nessun Dorma” by Pavarotti with a large orchestra behind him. When he hits the high note and holds it (impressively, I might add), there’s a flash of light that blacks out the sky for a moment before he sneezes, apologises and declares “the song has been sung, the day has now begun!” And punching the pelican to signify its unwanted presence.

The kicker? There’s nobody in that room, I’ve checked with management when I phoned in a noise complaint after a particularly loud incident early on, citing a psychotic break or just some dickish behaviour on the neighbours part.
