This tutorial shows you step by step how to use Google Cloud Platform's AutoML vision API to performance object detection and object localization using bounding boxes. AutoML offers a drag and drop interface to label your data before running the model.
In this video we create a machine learning model that can both label and localize particular object of interest with a set of training data images. We analyze medical congresses and work to create a model that can extract figures and images included with each abstract as well as any tables found in these publications. The entire process will involve zero coding and leverage Google's Automl Vision product.

![IPFS, Pinata, and the Long-Term Risks of Storing NFTs
This video discusses the curious case of disappearing NFTs and why concepts like garbage collection and link rot contribute to the relative impermanence of NFTs.

Making it possible to download a file from many locations that arent managed by one organization:
Supports a resilient internet. If someone attacks Wikipedias web servers or an engineer at Wikipedia makes a big mistake that causes their servers to catch fire, you can still get the same webpages from somewhere else.
Makes it harder to censor content. Because files on IPFS can come from many places, its harder for anyone (whether theyre states, corporations, or someone else) to block things. We hope IPFS can help provide ways to circumvent actions like these when they happen.
Can speed up the web when youre far away or disconnected. If you can retrieve a file from someone nearby instead of hundreds or thousands of miles away, you can often get it faster. This is especially valuable if your community is networked locally but doesnt have a good connection to the wider internet. (Well-funded organizations with technical expertise do this today by using multiple data centers or CDNs β content distribution networks (opens new window). IPFS hopes to make this possible for everyone.)
That last point is actually where IPFS gets its full name: the InterPlanetary File System. Were striving to build a system that works across places as disconnected or as far apart as planets. While thats an idealistic goal, it keeps us working and thinking hard, and almost everything we create in pursuit of that goal is also useful here at home.

![API Showdown: REST vs GraphQL
GraphQL is a query language and server-side runtime for application programming interfaces (APIs) that prioritizes giving clients exactly the data they request and no more.
GraphQL is designed to make APIs fast, flexible, and developer-friendly. It can even be deployed within an integrated development environment (IDE) known as GraphiQL. As an alternative to REST, GraphQL lets developers construct requests that pull data from multiple data sources in a single API call.
Additionally, GraphQL gives API maintainers the flexibility to add or deprecate fields without impacting existing queries. Developers can build APIs with whatever methods they prefer, and the GraphQL specification will ensure they function in predictable ways to clients.

Apollo GraphQL 0:00 - 0:30
GraphQL Protocol 0:30 - 2:30
Apollo Open Source Software 2:30 - 7:15
Building Value 7:15 - 9:34

GraphQL is a query language for APIs and a runtime for fulfilling those queries with your existing data. GraphQL provides a complete and understandable description of the data in your API, gives clients the power to ask for exactly what they need and nothing more, makes it easier to evolve APIs over time, and enables powerful developer tools.
Relay
https://relay.dev/
Urql/Formidable
https://formidable.com/open-source/urql/
The highly customizable and versatile GraphQL client for React, Svelte, Vue, or plain JavaScript, with which you add on features like normalized caching as you grow.
AWS App Sync
https://aws.amazon.com/appsync/
Organizations choose to build APIs with GraphQL because it helps them develop applications faster, by giving front-end developers the ability to query multiple databases, microservices, and APIs with a single GraphQL endpoint.
AWS AppSync is a fully managed service that makes it easy to develop GraphQL APIs by handling the heavy lifting of securely connecting to data sources like AWS DynamoDB, Lambda, and more. Adding caches to improve performance, subscriptions to support real-time updates, and client-side data stores that keep off-line clients in sync are just as easy. Once deployed, AWS AppSync automatically scales your GraphQL API execution engine up and down to meet API request volumes.
Prisma
https://www.prisma.io/graphql
Query data from MySQL, PostgreSQL & SQL Server databases in GraphQL with Prisma β a better ORM for JavaScript and TypeScript.
Hasura
https://hasura.io/
Developers and architects love Hasura because it takes no time to get started, doesnβt need them to be a GraphQL expert upfront, and saves their teams months of recurring effort in building, shipping and maintaining their APIs.

Apollo GraphQL

The Apollo Graph Platform unifies GraphQL across your apps and services, unlocking faster delivery for your engineering teams.
