In today’s episode, I review the Oberwerth Half-Case for the Leica M6. Why? Because the Leica M6 is becoming increasingly more valuable and the type of camera you would like to regularly use, but also protect properly.
Oberwerth introduced this line of half-cases last year starting with support for the most recent Leica M10 models but also the Leica Q or SL2. By now, Oberwerth also offers a version specifically for the Leica M6, which I have here, but it also works great for other analog Leica M bodies such as the MP, M-A, M3, M4 and - according to them - even the M7 with some squeezing.
I tested the half-case for a couple of weeks on my M6 and would like to share some personal impressions with you. The half-case costs 249 Euros and comes in Oberwerth’s black classic leather with red stitches.
