Saturday night before the inauguration, while the Obama Express was arriving at Union Station in Washington, I had the pleasure of interviewing an Obama supporter and campaign worker from Alabama. Deb, originally from Canada, had made a beautiful, artistic quilt for one of the Obama-Biden campaign offices in Alabama in honor of a rare national Democratic campaign presence. Obama arrived quietly and out of sight, but you can hear the excitement at Union Station in the background. If anyone knows why the Democratic donkey has four stars, please comment.
