Had this clip of the song stuck in my head and decided to make a mini PMV w it! Took me about 30 mins.
In their youth Hazelstripe and Marshpool were forbidden lovers, but when they both got promoted to deputy and then leader, Marshstar broke it off. Hazelstar never really got over it, stubbornly insisting they could have made it.
Seasons later, Hazelstar seeks an alliance with Marshstar after Fennelclan’s new leader, Thornstar blamed her clan for his former leader and father’s death. Marshstar turns her down, believing Hazelstar to be overreacting and Thornstar to be all meow and no claw. She turns out to be wrong when Hazelstar is killed in a border skirmish with Fennelclan, which Marshstar blames herself for.
Fun fact the art direction of this is reminiscent of the first pmv I attempted to make in Videoleap, and never finished or published, it was with a Hey Delilah cover.

I was in the original map, Moving to Neptune, and Im so happy I got to participate in the sequel!
This ship comes from a warriors au by me, as the only shipper its as rare as a pairing can be lol. Skyclans New Dawn, as Ive dubbed, it re-imagines the rebuilding of Skyclan if it was not done by Firestar, but instead Fluttering Bird reincarnated. Here, she makes Leafdapple her deputy and they find time to sneak away between managing the growing clan to spend time together :)
