FRL, XT or not, has become one of my favorite keyboard layouts and the Foundation with it's unique material options and stunning exterior design loaded with chamfers is one of my favorite boards to put on my desk. The aluminum plate is one of the worst I have used unfortunately, the spacebar sounds horrific to my ears, but the PC plate is great. It also has more plate materials available than ever before, including the Polypropylene or "PP" plate that I got with my review unit.In this review unit I also used the Roller Linear switches, recently highly reviewed by ThereminGoat, that contain metal ball bearings to lower friction and increase stability.
