2026 Kiwi Quads NZ Open: TQ & First place for myself and also joined by two other BMS Racing team pilots on the podium, Krypto & Sloogus! Really stoked with how this race went on all fronts.
Personally I was quite in sync with my hardware and this course, especially on the qualifying day where we had calm conditions. Race day was insanely windy and tough with periods of sustained 55kph+ winds due to a nearby cyclone, but everyone who attended really made the most of it and much fun on track was had!
Really proud of our team pilots and others in the BMS family for their awesome efforts and positive contributions to the community at this one, and can't wait to spend time on and off track with you all again.
A massive thanks to the NZO event crew, event sponsors (special shout out to Kiwi Quads for helping to keep everyone fed) & the awesome FPV community in NZ for being the best hosts and creating one of the most positive and fun environments to race in. It's always an honour to get to spend time with this crew, and I look forward to the next time we get to meet!
