Well, Parker is certainly an interesting character... Listening to this scene just sang to me. I knew exactly what I wanted to do musically for the scene. It somehow made me think of the leitmotif for the Ring in LOTR. This dark flowering and temptation to give in to power.
And so I wanted this violin carefully come out of the chaos, playing in the high registry, blooming.
