It appears that Nvidia will continue to attempt to articficially limit the hash rate of RTX graphics cards in mining workloads. While it's still firmly in the rumor category, Tech Radar (link below) posted that we're likely to see a light hash rate version of the RTX 3060 in May. This time, however, the solution may include a hardware component as opposed to locking the card down at just the driver level. Nvidia will try to spin this as pro-gamer, but it's anything but pro-consumer. Here's why this isn't a customer-friendly move by Nvida.
