For Forza Horizon 6 on NVIDIA hardware, Driver 610.62 is generally the superior and more stable choice compared to the newer 610.74. While 610.74 introduces day-0 support for new titles like Doom: The Dark Ages, user benchmarks show it does not improve performance for older titles and can even introduce slight frame pacing stutters.

- Driver 610.62: This is the recommended Game Ready WHQL driver for playing Forza Horizon 6. It integrates all essential stability patches from the 610.52 hotfix, resolves G-SYNC micro-stutters, and actively fixes DLSS setting bugs.
- Driver 610.74: A very light update primarily targeting newly released titles. Tests across various RTX GPUs show negligible FPS differences compared to 610.62, and it does not fix any major DLSS or rendering flaws in Forza Horizon 6.
