Perfect World is a leading developer of games, including some of the world’s most popular online titles. Their new Legends tech demo is inspired by third century BC to second century AD mythologies from the book “Classic of Mountains and Seas”. Rendered with ultra-realistic visuals, players can naturally interact with a tribal hunter in both English and Mandarin, providing a glimpse into a future where more immersive experiences will be driven by non-playable characters. Powered by a raft of AI technologies, the character’s responses are animated in real-time by ACE’s Audio2Face, generating perfect audio-lip sync in both languages, naturalistic movement of the facial muscles during conversations, and realistic expressions.
