A tribute to the iconic acoustic guitar theme, composed by George Wilkins, that plays at Epcot’s The Land pavilion.
I’ve long been a fan of the Living with the Land boat ride – especially its soundtrack, which is as classic Epcot in my mind as it can get. After 25 years, the gentle guitar strumming from the barn projection scene still hadn’t leaked, so I decided to recreate it myself. Hope you enjoy!

It originated from a 1994 show at Epcot called “Holiday Illuminations” that featured narration by Walter Cronkite and fireworks set to popular holiday tunes.
After the debut of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth in 1999, this music was used for a special holiday fireworks finale (holiday tag) that was introduced in 2004 and has been presented nightly at Epcot each year from late November through the end of December immediately following ROE.
In 2014, the holiday tag gained new narration and vocals as well as an increase in pyro. In 2018, the pyro was scaled back after a flaming gerb landed in the audience.
Holiday tag is expected to be in its final year as ROE comes to an end in 2019.
