At NUS FinTech Lab, we developed NUSwap, a crypto trading simulation platform for academic research, now used by UBRI network universities, providing a growing dataset to analyze decision-making, risk-taking, and market adaptation. Using a computational study, we applied quantitative methods to examine trader performance, risk-adjusted returns, and behavioral tendencies, identifying archetypes from risk-averse strategists to high-frequency traders. Our research explores behavioral finance biases, including the disposition effect, overconfidence bias, and loss aversion, revealing how traders manage positions. This study lays the foundation for empirical research, leveraging our expanding dataset to deepen insights into decision-making, risk management, and behavioral adaptation in financial markets.
