The Covid pandemic showed us some of the worst sides of our hospitals. We heard heartbreaking stories—patients left alone, not getting treatments that could help, and put on ventilators with terrible results. These were not “rare” mistakes, but rather the fallout from strict rules and protocols and a corrupt and broken system. Moreover, these issues are not new. In 2021, an article by Jon Rappoport, titled “COVID: The medical cartel destroying millions of lives is nothing new,” took us on a journey that inventoried “the grotesque track record of medical-cartel harm inflicted on the population.” Unnecessary surgeries, medication and other hospital errors, and adverse drug reactions are conservatively estimated to result in at least 225,000 deaths every year in U.S. hospitals, and even conventional sources acknowledge medical “errors” as the nation’s third leading cause of death. Internationally, a researcher estimates that psychiatric meds kill half a million seniors in the Western world annually.
These numbers highlight just how risky medical treatments and prescription drugs can be. Facing such grim statistics, the question becomes: “How can we keep ourselves and our loved ones safe?” The answer is nurse advocacy—and in this regard, Remnant Healthcare is leading the way.
