This was a random mish mash of a vlog -- plant shopping at my local nursery, making a Polar Express-inspired hot chocolate, and showing some new plants I've acquired recently which includes one wishlist plant! Sadly, I can't find the original video where I learned the hot chocolate recipe from but if you search Polar Express Hot Chocolate in TikTok you'll find others very similar to this!

🍫 THE HOT CHOCOLATE RECIPE 🍫
INGREDIENTS
***I have no exact measurements because I always eyeball it!***
Milk
Sweetened condensed milk
Instant coffee
Whipping cream
Sugar
Spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, ground ginger
METHOD
For the whip:
1. Whip about a half cup of whipping cream on high with 1 Tbsp of sugar for about 5 minutes until fluffy (texture to preference -- I don't like my whip too airy)
For the hot chocolate:
1. Heat milk in a saucepan on low
2. Once milk is warm, add chocolate, and whisk
3. Once the chocolate is melted and incorporated, add 1 Tbsp of condensed milk per serving (i.e. if making 2 servings, add 2 Tbsp)
4. Add strong instant coffee (I used 1 Tbsp instant to ~4 Tbsp hot water)
5. Whisk on low heat until shiny, stop before it starts to simmer
6. Pour into cup(s)
7. Add whip
8. Sprinkle on desired spices
9. Enjoy Christmas in a cup
