Finnish modern melodeath act Numento releases "Opilion," their fourth single from their upcoming third album. The track combines aggressive sound, crushing rhythms and addictive melodies into a perfect union, forming the trademark style of Numento. The song is about being trapped in a psychopathic, sick fantasy world of a predator-like character, pictured here as a spider-like creature.

A smothering affliction
Smeared the wings of a white moth
Trapped inside a shadow cage
Stretched out the webs of a liar
That captured her breath
And her mouth
Slowly covered with the net
Layer after layer
Emptied glance
Under coercive control
It paid a bitter price
For a forged affection
A wingless owl
Slowly closing her eyes

The putrid motive
Blackened her tears
