When faced with trials during their forty years of wandering in the wilderness the children of Israel were prone to being weak in faith, forgetting God’s blessings, and murmuring against God and His servant Moses. In the midst of our troubles we must look back at God’s blessings, be strong in the faith, and know that the Lord will help us bear our burdens and bring us safely through our trials as He eventually brought Israel to the promised land.
