Nuclear Blaze is a 2D firefighting action platformer with a slight twist. It's a great action game that offers way more depth and enjoyment than you'd expect.
I was surprised at how good Nuclear Blaze really is. I'm honestly not really a big fan of 2D platformers, but something about this game really clicks for me. A lot of that has to do with the lack of combat, I think. Exploring this facility, fighting fires, and solving puzzles is a lot of fun. There's still a constant sense of threat and danger though thanks to, well, play the game and you'll see.
Nuclear Blaze is the biggest surprise of the year for me. So far.
