North Carolina's Nu-Blu swung into Gold Tone's Titusville, Florida headquarters earlier this year and played a few tunes for us. Nu-Blu is fronted by husband and wife duo Daniel and Carolyn Routh. Joining the Rouths are Austin Hefflefinger on banjo, guitar, and vocals, and Justin Harrison on mandolin, fiddle, and percussion.
The band has released seven studio albums since their debut release in 2010, which itself came after years of playing together. We were incredibly lucky to have had them come by, check out what we do, and play on some of our instruments.
In this session Daniel played a GT-Dread in the natural finish, and Austin performed on the Mastertone® OB-Grandee Flying Eagle Resonator Banjo.
