Mrs. Smith Baker Street Guitar Harmony Technique Mrs. Smith 2021-08-01 | Kittens if anyone tells you there's rules to creativity send them to me because I have a beautiful bridge in Brooklyn to sell them! My videos or songs start with an impulse: a memory, a story, a riff, and I begin and then lords knows where it will lead. The Baker Street cover guitars (full video here: youtu.be/NSvlJ8dxszw ) were recorded direct to video with backing track playing underneath and then synched to the track in a video program. I even did some EQ'ing, reverb, and delay inside the VIDEO PROGRAM (again no rules!!). For the second verse I wanted something zesty and came up with this harmonization using the pitch shift inside the video program "keyframed" which means the parameters of the effect change based on the frame of the video. When I heard this sound I was so thrilled I fell down the stairs and my shoes fell off and electrons shot out of my eyeballs!youtu.be/NSvlJ8dxszw
