So I just started getting into New Super Mario Bros U hacking and it's been a ton of fun so far. I used Reggie Next (level editor) to create the stage and cemu (emulator) to run/test it. This is the first level I made with the editor so it's fairly short and doesn't have too many "advanced" features. Now that I'm a little more familar with Reggie Next, my next level will use more of the features unique to NSMBU (maybe a dark underground level?). Between recording this video and uploading it, I've updated the stage slightly so the download will include a few changes/fixes.
