Ray Tracing Inspector: The Nsight Graphics Acceleration Structure Viewer has evolved into the more powerful Ray Tracing Inspector. Visualize and improve your ray tracing with advanced features such as traversal timing heatmaps, and instance AABB overlaps in world space. Dive deep into opacity micromap analysis with enhanced statistics for OMM use and efficiency.

D3D12 Work Graphs: D3D12 Work Graphs are a powerful feature which helps the GPU schedule and parallelize work, and cut down on CPU round-trips. Nsight Graphics allows you to preview Work Graphs with the NVIDIA Beta Drivers. You can learn more about Work Graphs and the latest DirectX specs with the links below:

Realtime Shader Profiler: The Realtime Shader Profiler, introduced in version 2023.3, has graduated from preview and is now enabled by default. The Realtime Shader Profiler lets you examine shader stall reasons, including SM Warp Occupancy and Average Warp Latency data, directly in the GPU Trace interface. Uncover latency, triage inefficient shaders, and find the best opportunities to make performance improvements.

Background Compiles Indicator: Keep an eye on the new Background Compiles indicator to ensure your shaders are fully optimized before profiling. Wait for the "Inactive" state to profile the most optimized version of your renderer.

Nsight Aftermath Crash Dump Viewer: The Nsight Aftermath Crash Dump Viewer now guides you with an automatically generated analysis in the Exception Summary section. Nsight Aftermath can now also generate a hash value for crash dump files, helping you quickly classify and group related crashes from your customers.
