NSC's Mini IHS Project Success!
Hi guys, hope you all fine 🙂
Like you already know, the Mini IHS really working like a charm. If you like to do the same, please also use a great thermal paste like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut. It's really one's of the best thermal paste and a very good combination with this Mini IHS Mod. You can also probably buy some great copper shims too, but only with same thickness like the Original IHS, the CELL IHS is always thinner than the RSX IHS, so take care! The PS3´s has not all the same IHS, older models have thiker IHS, newer models have thinner IHS! You will need to check with a straightedge tool, if you're Heatsink is bent, if yes, fix it first, otherwise it makes no sense. IMPORTANT: DO NOT TRY IT WITHOUT IHS, YOU WILL KILL YOUR PS3!
