Tech Ambrosia | NSC Geode GX1 Runs DOSBench - Doom, Quake, more benchmarked @TechAmbr | Uploaded June 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
When Cyrix merged with National Semiconductor, one of the first products produced by the new partnership was the Geode line of embedded processors. These early versions didn't really differ much from the path the MediaGX (and MediaGXm) had tread previously, and as such, offered similar performance albeit with much lower power consumption.
Board: HannStar EBC-3410
CPU: NSC Geode GX1-S @ 300MHz
Chipset: CS5530A Geode Companion Chipset
RAM: 128MB PC133 SDRAM, CL3 (SO-DIMM)
Board Form Factor: PC/104 (oversize)
