Today is the first day of spring, and Professor Talinn Grigor and I would like to wish a happy Nowruz, or Persian New Year, to all in the community who celebrate.
Nowruz means “new day” and symbolizes renewal, growth and hope. Observed for over 3,000 years, it’s a time to come together with friends and family, share meals, and celebrate with rituals, ceremonies and events.
