This wee rabbit had been seen in our next door neighbours front lawn over a few days. This morning ( Thursday 23rd July ) it had come round to our front lawn.
It was clearly very frightened. During the day it stayed hidden behind some wild flowers. But by evening it was venturing out and seems to be enjoying a quiet and solitary nibble.
We felt sorry for it because it was on its own at such an early age. Where was its mother? How had it become separated from her? Had she been killed on the road? Would baby rabbit have any real chance of survival with so many predators around and also our nearby road.
