Welcome new subscribers! I usually do one big project a month-ish and a few other RC related videos sprinkled in. My other hobbies include Lego, Skiing, and Star Wars stuff. I've had this project 80% complete for 2 years now! Finally got around to finishingAnakin's pod, and getting them flying together. Both are built out of 3mm Depron, and weigh around 35-40g each. They are powered by a pair of 7mm motors, and controlled with 1.7g Hobby King servos and a Delteng reciever. There is a piece of clear mylar film in between the engines to provide enough lifting surface.Sebulba's pod flies awesome and is very aerobatic. Anakin's is a little less maneuverable, but still pretty good compared to my average sci-fi build. Both make me hum the "Duel of the Fates" to myself when I fly them...
As with all my builds, this is strictly for fun. I do not intend to sell any sort of kit based on this project, although I will be glad to answer questions about the build, and help anyone who is interested create their own. Do not upload my content as your own, and please provide proper attribution if you are sharing it.
