In honor of Women’s History Month, we want to honor and thank the many amazing women who serve and have served at Austin Police (APD) throughout its history. From recruiting new female applicants, to training our female cadets, to leading our department for their entire careers, the women of APD have always been a profound and important part of this organization. If you’re a woman and have a heart to serve the Austin community, we’d love for you to apply.
APD is part of the 30X30 Initiative, which has the goal of increasing the representation of women in our recruiting classes by 30 percent by the year 2030!
