The Novena to Our Lady of Assumption is a powerful devotion that honors the Blessed Virgin Mary’s assumption into heaven and seeks her powerful intercession for our special intentions and petitions.
The title of Our Lady of the Assumption was given to Mary to honor the mystery of her being assumed body and soul into heavenly glory at the end of her earthly life. The Feast of the Assumption is celebrated every August 15, reminding the faithful of Mary's unique place in salvation history and standing as a sign of the resurrection and eternal life promised to all who follow her Son.
This prayer should be said for nine consecutive days leading up to the Feast of the Assumption (August 15th) or at any time of the year when you are in need of Our Lady's help.
*NOVENA TO OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION* - Prayer Text
Mary, Queen assumed into Heaven, I rejoice that after years of heroic martyrdom on Earth, you have at last been taken to the throne prepared for you in Heaven by the Holy Trinity.
Lift my heart with you in the glory of your Assumption above the dreadful touch of sin and impurity.
Teach me how small Earth becomes when viewed from Heaven. Make me realize that death is the triumphant gate through which I shall pass to your Son, and that someday my body shall rejoin my soul in the unending bliss of Heaven.
From this Earth, over which I tread as a pilgrim, I look to you for help. In honor of your Assumption into Heaven, I ask for this favor: (Mention your petitions now).
When my hour of death has come, lead me safely to the presence of Jesus to enjoy the vision of my God for all eternity together with you. Amen.
Closing Prayer:
Almighty, ever-living God, You raised to eternal glory the body and soul of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of Your Son. Grant that our minds may always be directed heavenward and that we may deserve to share in her glory. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

![The Divine Mercy Chaplet
The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a powerful devotion given by Jesus Christ Himself to St. Faustina Kowalska in 1935. Through this prayer, Jesus revealed His immense desire to pour out His boundless mercy upon all souls who turn to Him with trust. The souls that say this chaplet will be embraced by My mercy during their lifetime and especially at the hour of their death, Jesus promised.
This beautiful devotion invites us to approach the throne of mercy with confidence, offering the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus to the Eternal Father in atonement for sins. Each prayer becomes a channel of grace, with Jesus assuring St. Faustina that through this chaplet, we can obtain everything that is compatible with His will.
The Divine Mercy devotion reminds us that no soul is beyond Gods compassion. In Jesus own words to St. Faustina: Let the greatest sinners place their trust in My mercy. They have the right before others to trust in the abyss of My mercy.

*DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET Prayers*
OPENING PRAYERS
You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.
[Pray 3 times:] O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!
[Pray 1 time:] Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
[Pray 1 time:] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
[Pray 1 time:] I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
MAIN PRAYERS (for each decade):
[Pray 1 time:] Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
[Pray 10 times:] For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
CLOSING PRAYERS:
[Pray 3 times:] Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
[Optional] Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments, we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy Itself. Amen.

Novena to Our Lady of Hope - Hope of the Hopeless | Powerful 9-Day Catholic Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary
Pray this Catholic novena for times of spiritual darkness, discouragement, distress, and when seeking hope and trust in Gods mercy. The Novena to Our Lady of Hope is a beautiful Marian prayer that calls upon Marys maternal intercession before Jesus Christ.
*ABOUT THIS NOVENA*
The Novena to Our Lady of Hope is a powerful nine-day prayer that invites us to turn to the Blessed Virgin Mary in times of spiritual darkness, discouragement, and distress. This beautiful novena acknowledges our human weaknesses, sins, and fears while simultaneously calling upon Marys maternal intercession and her powerful advocacy before the throne of her Divine Son, Jesus Christ.
The novena petitions three essential graces: true contrition for our sins, perfect resignation to Gods Holy Will, and the courage to embrace our crosses and follow Christ. It also provides space to present our personal intentions to Mary, trusting in her maternal care and powerful intercession.
*WHEN TO PRAY THIS NOVENA*
- Times of discouragement and hopelessness
- Spiritual struggles and temptation
- Seeking courage to carry your cross
- Need for trust in Gods mercy
- Personal intentions and special requests
*NOVENA TO OUR LADY OF HOPE (prayer text)*
O Mary, my Mother, I kneel before you with heavy heart. The burden of my sins oppresses me. The knowledge of my weakness discourages me. I am beset by fears and temptations of every sort. Yet I am so attached to the things of this world that instead of longing for Heaven I am filled with dread at the thought of death.
O Mother of Mercy, have pity on me in my distress. You are all-powerful with your Divine Son. He can refuse no request of your Immaculate Heart. Show yourself a true Mother to me by being my advocate before His throne. O Refuge of Sinners and Hope of the Hopeless, to whom shall I turn if not you?
Obtain for me, then, O Mother of Hope, the grace of true sorrow for my sins, the gift of perfect resignation to Gods Holy Will, and the courage to take up my cross and follow Jesus. Beg of His Sacred Heart the special favor that I ask in this novena.
[Mention your petitions now]
But above all I pray, O dearest Mother, that through your most powerful intercession my heart may be filled with Holy Hope, so that in lifes darkest hour I may never fail to trust in God my Savior, but by walking in the way of His commandments I may merit to be united with Him, and with you in the eternal joys of Heaven. Amen.
Mary, our Hope, have pity on us.
Hope of the Hopeless, pray for us.
[Pray the Hail Mary prayer 3 times]

*DAILY CONSECRATION PRAYER TO MARY*
I, (insert name) , a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in thy hands, O Immaculate Mother, the vows of my Baptism. I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works, and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before. In the presence of all the heavenly court, I choose thee this day for my Mother and Mistress. I deliver and consecrate to thee, as thy slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in time and in eternity. Amen.

*Rosary to God the Father* (prayer text)
O God come to my assistance.
Lord, make haste to help me.
Glory be to the Father...
My good Father, I offer myself to Thee.
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom Gods love commits me here. Ever this day, be at my side to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
In the First Mystery, we contemplate the Triumph of the Father in the garden of Eden when, after the sin of Adam and Eve, He promises the coming of the Lord.
“The Lord God said to the serpent: Because you have done this, you shall be banned from all the animals and from all the wild creatures; On your belly shall you crawl, and dirt shall you eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and hers; she will strike at your head, while you strike at her heel.”
Pray: 1 Hail Mary, 10 Our Fathers, and a Glory be
My good Father, I offer myself to Thee.
Angel of God, my guardian dear
...
In the Second Mystery, we contemplate the triumph of the Father at the moment of the “Fiat” of Mary during the Annunciation.
“The Angel said to Mary: “Do not fear Mary. You have found favor with God. You shall conceive and bear a son and give Him the name of Jesus. Great will be His dignity and He will be called the Son of the Most High; the Lord God will give Him the throne of David His Father. He will rule over the house of Jacob forever and His reign will be without end”. Then Mary said: “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord, let what you have said be done to me.”
In the Third Mystery, we contemplate the triumph of the Father in the garden of Gethsemane when He gives all His power to the Son.
And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying: “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me, yet not My will but Yours be done!” An angel then appeared to Him from heaven to strengthen Him. In His anguish He prayed with all the greater intensity, and His sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.
In the Fourth Mystery, we contemplate the triumph of the Father at the moment of every particular judgment.
While he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his
feet; and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate.
In the Fifth Mystery, we contemplate the triumph of the Father at the moment of final judgment.
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea was no longer. I also saw a new Jerusalem, the holy city, coming down from heaven from God, beautiful as a bride prepared to meet her husband. I heard a loud voice from the throne cry out: This is Gods dwelling among men. He shall dwell with them and they shall be His people and He shall be their God who is always with them. He shall wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, crying out or pain, for the former world has passed away.
