An 11km drive from Lady Hammond Road in Halifax to the Dartmouth Road / Trunk 7 intersection in Bedford.

Trunk 2 is about 260km long and serves is parallel to Highway 102 until Truro, where it diverges to follow the Bay of Fundy coast. It ends near the New Brunswick border, just outside of Amherst.
