There are very few books where you can say that nothing changed. If the world situation is the same, the characters have grown, if the characters remained stagnant, their situation changed. Something almost always changes and there are even LESS books where nothing happens and I can still walk away and say I liked it. Baptism of Fire, the fifth book in The Witcher series by Andrzej Sapkowski is one of these books. Nothing happens, and yet, somehow I still really enjoyed it. Here’s why.
