Egyptologist Dr. David Falk responded to one of my Nothing Fails Like Bible History videos a while back, and his arguments were really bad. Have you ever wondered how far will religious apologists go to defend the Bible at all costs? What happens when an Egyptologist with legitimate credentials starts publicly smearing respected scholars, misrepresenting their work, and getting caught in blatant lies? And what does it say about the state of Christian apologetics when this is the rising star they're propping up?
Dr. David Falk, a PhD Egyptologist, has been making waves in apologetics circles with response videos targeting skeptics and mainstream scholars alike. But when you look beneath the surface, a troubling pattern of slimy tactics emerges: misrepresenting the positions of scholars like William Dever, attempting to discredit respected archaeologists like Israel Finkelstein, publishing in predatory journals while criticizing others' sources, and making shockingly misogynistic comments about Oxford professor Dr. Francesca Stavrakopoulou (which cost him his research associate position at the Vancouver School of Theology). Today we're pulling back the curtain on the tactics apologists use when the evidence doesn't support their conclusions.
