This is my daughters favorite song

For a minute it was karma chameleon
(Which I also love)
Before that it was anything from Frozen
And before that it was Baby shark

Suffice to say her taste is expanding

The first time
She heard it I think it came up on my YouTube and I changed it
Thinking it was too heavy for her but she asked me to go back to it

Then the next day she asked to hear it again
I was surprised because it’s heavy and she’s only four

Since then it’s something we listen to a lot
Driving around Arizona
Going to the park and what not

The other day she surprised me by singing the whole thing and knowing the worlds
We sang it together and it was one of those moments where you think
I’m gonna remember this

I wouldn’t try to cover this if it wasn’t for her
Sinead’s version is untouchable

And this take is me just basically learning it
I missed a chord
But still something about it felt special enough to post

I’ll need to work on an instrumental and get her to sing it

Perhaps will do a duet
