Hues of Happiness DSP with Brights 6 x 6 DSP…match made in Heaven!
What do I ❤️ love about the Hues of Happiness DSP? It has to be that I can get all the colors of the rainbow in one cut! On one strip of DSP I can go from pinks/reds to blue-greens/purple.
I pulled 3 colors from each end of the spectrum (that lend to an ombré look) using the Brights DSP and combined them with variegated strips of the Hues of Happiness DSP.
(2) variegated HOH DSP that measure 1/4” x 12”
(3) ombré shades of Brights DSP that measure 1” x 6” (I can’t decide on pinks or blue-greens so I cut both 😊)
(2) 3” square 9-patch grids
The (3) 1” x 6” strips will yield 2 quilt blocks and the 1/4” x 12” strips will yield (2) components needed for the quilt blocks.
To complete the cards you will need:
(2) A2 card bases
(4) Basic White 4” x 5 1/4” CS
2 to emboss, 2 for inserts
(2) DSP backs 4” x 5 1/4”
(2) Coordinating CS color that measure 3 1/4” square for matting quilt block
