German Speed Metal from Hamburg. From 2001 "21st Century Ballroom"
This one is for my friend and brother CultOfMetal who loves this kind of Metal from the heart (for the Mania comment). Hail!
They were formed in 1980; THEY ARE PIONEERS, and they are THE ONLY BAND FROM HAMBURG THAT STILL SOUNDS LIKE IN THOSE DAYS WE LEARNED TO LOVE HAMBURG METAL!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at Metal Archives for their releases (first album after two demos in 1988), look then for the CDs (almost all for low-price- WHY???), and then fall down to your knees and pray!
Ok, some will say Torsten cannot sing- right, but Kai Hansen does?
Some will critizise that they sound like old Helloween- yes, fuck hell, and it´s a damn good thing that they do so! That was Hamburg Metal! It doesn´t matter if you´re a great singer- some of them killed my love to Helloween! And they founded my love th NOT FRAGILE! Hail them! And Hellion Records, the plush homeless shelter!
