Ok so this is my half of an art trade Im doing with someone. Im also doing a commission for her and she was super generous with the amount she gave me! I felt bad in a way cause it feels like I dont do enough so I decided to make a speed draw of the art trade. I know its not a lot but I really did feel like I needed to do something else too.
Recording is hard to do mind you, my laptop keeps shutting down constantly so Ive had to redo a lot of things. I tried my best to keep it running smoothly. This old thing is failing on me and is gonna die soon I swear-

I gave in.
So I still wanted to keep the moth aspect and I also wanna give her clothes that give more hints at her ethnicity. So I decided to make her Mexican since right now nothing tells me shes Salvadorian.
In Mexico we have a popular moth called the Black Witch moth. It only flies at night and its basically the goth moth. Perfect, shes already a pastel goth, lets dump the pastel and just stick to goth.
Traditional Mexican girls clothes are pretty festive and always have tons of lace on them, so I tried to use that but making her look modern and professional at the same time. Pardon me but I totally believe Vaggie should be the one in a blazer or suit. Shes clearly the more mature one.

I was going to add more frames, I was gonna have a few more characters come in and sing, but it all just stopped. Not that it really matters. As much as I love this song, I couldnt find the will to keep going.
Why stop working on this? Three reasons. I lost motivation, I started this a while back last year, and I didnt really have a clear idea on where I wanted to do with this. As you could clearly see from the frames I have.
So Ill try my hands at another animatic, but I cant promise anything. I cant stay focused on something for too long, curse my attention span.
