I'm surprised that there aren't many Animal Crossing fan games on YouTube so I put together a small demo in Unity using models from New Leaf and Mario Kart 8. The music is a remix of Zion. T's "Hello Tutorial" in the style of Animal Crossing.
It's not much of a game since you can't interact with anything and all you can do is run around the area but it should give an idea of what a new Animal Crossing could look like!
