No one should ever be forced to choose between responsibilities at home and responsibilities at work.

PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) is building a family-friendly workplace by recognizing employees’ roles both at home and in the workplace. Through the WEPs Corporate Action Lab (WEPs CAL), WIKA identifies challenges through a measurable approach to design the right steps and initiatives.

From WIKA’s daycare services to mandatory pre-leave preparation for maternity leave and paternity leave through WIKADEMY, WIKA demonstrates that when systems support families, employees can continue to grow—at home and at work.

The WEPs Corporate Action Lab is an acceleration program under the UN Women Gender Action Lab, supported by the Government of Australia, aimed at advancing gender equality in the private sector. In Indonesia, UN Women collaborates with Danantara Indonesia to build a more equal, adaptive, and sustainable workplace.
